I have to say Neil Peart is the BEST but Alex ROCKS!!!!!!

Exclamation I don't know about that.
Man I don't know about this. I definetly agree that Neil Peart is the best but Guy Gelso is not close behind him at second. Guy is an AMAZING drummer but there are better drumers like John Bonham, Keith Moon, Alex Van Halen, Tony Thompson. I love Zebra and I LOVE Mr. Gelso's drumming, he is AWESOME but to say he is close behind Peart without even mentioning Bonzo, Moon, Alex or Tony is going a bit far. At least thata my opinion.

On the other hand, Alex is UNBELEIVABLE!!!!! He may not have the greatest roll's but the beat's he puts down are mindblowing. He has complete control of his right hand, left hand, right foot, and left foot. As a drummer I know how hard it is to be able to separate the hands and feet from doing the samething. And that is someing Mr. Van Halen has mastered! Although I do beleive that Neil Peart is better but it isn't a blowout.

I see that you mentioned Tony Thompson,I just read in Rolling Stone that he recently passed away. He died from renal cancer or the effects from it. RIP Tony Thompson great drummer

Tony Thompson is an AMAZING drummer. He played drums on the Plant/Page Unledded World Tour in 1994-96! He was going to replace Bonzo back in1986 when Zep was gonna' get back together. Tony you ROCK!!!!!!
