Zebra on Monsters of Rock Cruise 2015

Just saw the first group of bands announced for the Monsters of Rock Cruise 2015.

Europe, Night Ranger. Lita Ford, Stryper, Kix, Zebra, Honeymoon Suite, Heavens Edge, Black and Blue, Keel, Leatherwolf, Rhino Bucket, Bang Tango

The date is April 18, 2015.

I'm thinking very seriously about going.

Cool! Thanks for sharing!

Didn't know that Honeymoon Suite is still existing, The Big Prize is one of my all time favorite albums.
Last year we were on the Lynyrd Skynyrd cruise and we are now bitten by the rock-cruise microbe... Though we're not planning to do this every year, but 2015 maybe fits
This year our rock vacation will be in Sweden... Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath, Foghat, Alter Bridge, Billy Idol, Alice Cooper and 80 other bands

Would love to go to Sweden Rock some day, although I like the lineups the last couple years more than this years. Last years with Rush, Kiss, Aventasia, Europe, Krokus, Accept, etc would have been amazing.

The bands you've mentioned are playing frequently in my country (or a country nearby) or I prefer to see them in a hall in stead of a festival (Kiss, Rush,...), so that's not worth to make the long and rather expensive journey to Sweden. Here in Europe we're spoiled with good rock/metal festivals, almost every country has one (or more) 3-4 days festivals with plenty of good bands.

The attractive of Sweden Rock is that they always program bands you will never have the chance to see and new young upcoming artist as well. This year I'm especially going for Q5, Avatarium, The Rods, Dark Angel, Danger Danger, TNT, Robin Beck, Blues Pills, Kings Of The Sun, Horisont, Canned Heat, Kvelertak, Rob Zombie, Jake E Lee's Red Dragon Cartel,... combined with my favorite bands Black Sabbath, Pain Of Salvation, Jaguar, Flotsam and Jetsam, Annihilator, Alter Bridge etc it will be very busy and probably give some conflicts in my schedule while playing bands at the same time...

BTW, next year Zebra will celebrating their 40th anniversary. That looks as a good opportunity to play for the very first time in Europe, at Sweden Rock or wherever... I'll be there

Thanks Vgi, happy to hear Black Sabbath is still performing strong. Hopefully Rush will cross the pond next year. When there's no new studio-album they mostly stay in North America...

The Monsters of Rock Cruise website has not been updated with next years information yet, but they do have some information on their Facebook page.

Would Rather they did the Moody Blues Cruise !! Randy was invited to do an acoustic solo on that one this year but could not do it because of the conflict with the Music of Led Zeppelin Symphony show ...
and hey Sarcastic - get with the program man ! FB --

Stephan - Definitely agree on being bitten by the rock cruises. I was also on the Lynyrd Skynyrd cruise last year, and booked again for their last one. I missed Cruise To The Edge with Zebra last year, so better save my pennies for Monsters of Rock 2015.

@Zebra 3: Oh, you were on Simple Man VII? Unfortunately I didn't know, we could have a beer and a chat It's a shame this year will be the last one. I like the Southern atmosphere in a Caribbean area
We were considering to rock-cruising every 4-5 years, but seeing the MoR 2015 line-up I think I need to review this...
