I heard the downtown reopened ? anyone else hear anything about that ?

No!! But try and find out more info and let us know! Maybe someone finally bought it - let's hope they don't turn it into a techno hell hole and keep it all about rock -n- roll!

someone i work with was having dinner at the restaurant across the street from the downtown on saturday nite ... she said there were bouncers at the door , line of people and a band playing

I hope this news is true and they go back to booking national acts once again! That would be so awesome if that happened!!!! I am crossing my fingers overhere...I miss that place, been to lots of good shows overthere...Hatebreed, Suffocation, Throwdown, Neglect's 1st show in 10 years, etc...I never saw Zebra there though which sux! Maybe I will get my chance should this news be true....

This really would be good news. Nice club, clean, great bands, and the beer is cold. What more could I ask for ? ;)

I know somebody who would know for sure but don't know how to get a hold of them. Always see him at shows. Well I guess we'll just have to sit back and see what happens. Keep your fingers crossed.
