Other than having to be in a class this morning, the day is perking along rather nicely. My son got up early to make me breakfast this morning only to find out I had to go to school. I came home to 1 dozen red roses from my son, (he had to walk about a mile to the nearest florist),and a beautiful card telling me I am the best mom in the world and that he doesn't tell me that nearly as much as I deserve to hear it.
It seems sending him to live with his father and step mother for three months gave him a whole new perspective on what kind of mom I really am. Prior to this, I recall him saying I was a pain in the neck and too demanding of him.
My girls on the other hand, (who can be very "needy") just asked me what we're having for dinner! So, I gather they will not be cooking tonight. :rolleyes:
