I just sent this message to April...

Yea, we are ok. My wife and I drove over yesterday to look at all of the devastation. Houses nowhere to be seen. Cars thrown around ... split in half up in trees ... trees sheared off ... people walking around looking for personal belongings. One guy has yet to find any part of his blue van ... just disappeared. His tractor got blown quite a distance away from his barn. Quite an unbelievable scene.

Those pictures are unbelievable. I always get choked up when I see a picture like the one with the teddy bear. It makes you think how the children are afffected. It's amazing the havoc that a storm can cause and how some people's lives are changed. My prayers go out to them all.... :(

Fortunately the population of Westminster, TX is just over 400.

I would hate to imagine if the tornados would have hit a more populated area.

Just make sure you have tonadoe drills and know how to be safe if one strikes.
