Opie and Anthony Show

Had a pretty good show this morning. They replaced David Lee Roth on 92.3 and now I listen. I thought David was boring.

Opie and Anthony had some audio clips from newscasts and were mocking the fear factor that the media instills in the public. Them news broadcasts that give a couple of snippets of upcoming stories that will be covered after the commercial. Guess its the whole bird flu movie tonight that stirred this up.

"Microwave popcorn hazardous to your health" Suppossively the coating they put on the inside of the bag to prevent sticking is cancerous. Yeah, if your a lab mouse and you eat 40 bags of orville redenbacher a day!

Then they had this one that had me rollin. "How the grocers can mysteriously trick you into buying bad fruit". Opie and anthony started mocking them. They say: "Whats there some guy standing on the side and when you turn your head they toss some bad pieces of friuit in front of you? I mean you look at the fruit, if its rotten don't buy it. Like if you look at a banana and it appears as if it starred in Philadelphia, don't touch it".


Anybody else hear of any funny ones.

I heard one they had. The Government wants to move all child predators within a few mile radius of each other. News at 11.
Yeah, its ridiculous how these news channels do this cr@p to get viewers
Fox 5 is always : Feuding on American Idol, how Ryan hates Paula, whatever......

Yep, you heard the same show. That was one they were mocking. 'Move all the sex offenders to a 3 mile radius'. What if that radius is near where you live? :eek:

I heard that skit too but you know. Howard bashing Imus, Imus Bashing Howard, Howard bashing O&A.
Guys just shut the f... up and do you thing. I think it's really annoying when they start bashing other shows on theirs. It shows lack of brainstorm material to bash on.

Agreed. I'm also glad WDHA (NJ, 105.5) fired Matt and Fuzz. Not funny whatsoever!!! Why doesnt David Lee Roth apply for the job???

4-5 hours on Xm. Who listens to radio for that long. I only listen going backl n forth to the train station for work. Guess I could get walkman and listen on train if I wanted since I spend about 3 hours on it each day.

Gregg, They fired Matt and Fuzz! Thats it! I'm going to their website and trashing them. att and Fuzz weren't no O&A but then again WDHA aint no CBS.

Going back to the first post here's another post. A kid gets bitten by a shark. The newscast scare "Are our waters shark infested?"

Shark infested waters! LOL Most morning shows are identical. Matt n Fuzz, formerly WDHA, Free Beer and Hot Wings (Philly stations), 95.1 Philly has identical. O & A are just funnier for some reason. I especially enjoy the impressions of Howard and Robin I USED TO be fans of Howard till he scr*wed Jackie the Joke Man :mad:

Yeah! Bears! And now there's a wild Tom Turkey who likes to raid my bird feeder. Puggs went after that thing then when it flew to get away from a charging Puggs its wings made so much noise it sounded like a helicopter. Puggs stood there on the ground as it flew off like: "What the f..k was that???"

Asbury Park is probably the dumpiest on the Jersey shore. Not many White caucasian either. Visit there, outsaide of the convention center concert hall or Stone Pony and your the minority!
