I don't go to the movies very often, so this weekend my daughters dragged me to Blockbuster.
If you haven't seen Derailed (Jennifer Aniston) or Walk The Line (Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon), do yourself a favor and see these movies. They were both excellent. Walk The Line made me cry, that's how touching the Cashes love story was.

I've been singing Ring Of Fire all day today!

I loved Walk the Line!! I saw it once and could not get it out of my head so I had to watch it again. Johhny Cash was such a big part of my childhood as my dad was a major fan. I thought the movie was very well done. They glossed over some of his life but then again it had to appeal to the masses. Such a love story, I didn't really think that could happen in "real" life so to speak. Johhny was so consumed with June it was just wonderful to watch. Just an amazing love story with all the sh*t that happens to us all. Very good movie to say the least....

I'm not crazy about love stories either. However, I love anything based on true life stories and this movie was very touching. It must be wonderful to be loved that much!

I read the book. It was intriguing. But as a religious person, Protestant I take some of the stuff with a grain of salt

from what i hear most people who read the book think
that its very possible, the church is up in arms,
people say its blasphemous - whatever the author is not purporting
it as truth (whether he/she thinks it is or not)

I saw this movie tonight and I thought it was excellent. As for as anyone thinking the authors theories absurd, they are no more absurd than being taught that Jesus was the son of God, born to a 16 year old virgin through immaculate conception.
It was about 2 1/2 hours long and moved very quickly.

Before the movie started, the theater showed it's usual trailers. I saw the trailer to World Trade Center, starring Nicholas Cage, which is coming to theaters in August. Make sure you bring the Kleenex if you go to see this one. I was crying just watching the trailer, truly emotionally stirring.

What role will Cage play in the movie?

Took my daughter to see The Break Up this afternoon. It was very good, but sad. However, Jennifer Anniston does have a very nice ass, I must say.

No she isn't, thank goodness!

I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith a while ago and I thought that movie ****ed! Not into Brad Pitt either, great actor, but there's something about him that I never liked.

walk the line was great, our dad is a huge Johnny Cash fan so we grew up with all his music. the soundtrack is great too, Joaquin did a great job. Randy played "folsom prison blues" for me last time i saw him at the butcher boys in holbrook, he did it great!

Ransom was an AWESOME movie! I need to own it!

StiX and I just watched 16 blocks - I thought it was intense. Although I personally don't think Bruce Willis is sexy, I do think he is a great actor and I really like the roles he takes on.

Next movies on my hit list to rent:

Firewall (Harrison Ford)
Kingdom of Heaven (this one's been out a while)
Carnivale - Season 2
The Libertine (Johnny Depp -----SIGH!)

But Jenn - that's what makes Johnny Depp so freakin' cool! I totally appreciate the warning!

I went to Pirates tonite - I thought it was great. The first one was a tad bit better - but I still loved this one too. I was so jealous that they filmed this in the Bahamas - seeing the turqouise water and white sandy beach was slight toture!
