Uhh...didn't that occur in 1970? So, that would be 36 years.

BANG!!!! ZOOM!!!!!
Your right Don. The radio told me forty this morning. They must of BS me. It was May 4th but 1970.
I mujst be getting dementia in my old age. But I still know every single honeymooners episode. I only seen each one over at least a dozen times.
Weisenheimer? lol! Sounds like weitermier. Though Ralph used that term often, it also sounds like Bert Weitermier. He was the one who ralph tried to kiss up too to get a promotion. He was the geek with the hot wife who Alice tried to intimidate the next evening when Ralph got home from work.

the honeymooners were the best!!! too bad television isnt like that anymore. those were the good old days. honeymooners, dobie gillis, our miss brooks, topper, etc etc.
No doubt. The little Rascals were awesome too!
Honeymooners. Good ol acting. Few actors. Few room settings is all you need for entertainment.
"I'm here to pick up angelcake. I have a frantic hot rod outside thats ready to percolate!"
Ralph: Angel Cake?
"Angelcake aint a food man! Shes a chick. Dig!"
"Mr Kramden, This is Tommy, Do I leave my water pistol down here"

Dont forget Ralph's boss Mr Marshall eating the dogfood!
As Greg Kihn would later sing "They don't write 'em like that anymore" :)
Then Norton and Ralph try to think up a name for it
Kramdens Delicious Marshall
but they agreed they had to get both names in the first word of the new product so theyt came up with:
KranMars delicious mystery appetizer

EVERY time I see an old broken down van I'll yell in the "Doc" voice
Libyans!!!!
My kids think their old man is nuts LOL
Sits down eating diuring his sleep walk and his one arm w/o the sandwiches still sticks straight out.
Norton: "LUUUUUULUUUUUUUU!"
Pschiatrist: "Mr. Norton, you must of suffered some grave dissapointment as a child."
Norton: "Yeah, Grave dissapointment. LuLu was the best friend I ever had."
Psychiatrist: "Tell us about this Lulu, was she a childhood sweetheart?"
Norton: "LuLu was my dog, I lost her in the tunnel of love at Coney Island. She went overboard after a ****er spaniel."
My favorite is with Norton sleepwalking. He still remembers where the icebox is and sits down to a meal! LOL
All bacause they couldn';t afford their own TV set.
How about when they get wasted on grape juice.
Norton: "Want another one"
Ralph: "Pour away Mind Host"
Alice "100% male ego!"

When I saw it in the theatre I was a Senior in High School. Every time Doc came on screen (and also when Christopher Lloyd was in Star Trek II the Wrath of Kahn...) you'd hear so many people in the theatre with imitations of Rev Jim Ignatowski from Taxi
UHHHHHHH LOUIEEEEEE
or
WHAT....DOES.....A....YELLOW.........LIGHT.....MEA N....
(Rieger : Slow down Jim!!!)
Jim: WHAT........DOES..................LOL!!!!

i wasnt even alive when this "incident" went down
You must be a spring peeper? I remember it well because it was sometime shortly after Nixon beat out Wallace in the presidential election. We had a mock election in 3rd grade.

Tin soldiers and Nixon coming,
We're finally on our own.
This summer I hear the drumming,
Four dead in Ohio.
Gotta get down to it
Soldiers are cutting us down
Should have been done long ago.
What if you knew her
And found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know?
Gotta get down to it

Address the ball. Ralph takses a practice swing in the kitchen and whacks the canisters with the golf club.
