Heard this on the radio today. I don't know that it will actually change anything, but it's worth the shot. They want to know if/when prices reach/pass the $3.00 per gallon mark. If so, write them and let them know. Supposedly they'll get right onto looking at price gouging. It may be hopeless, but I'm going to write. I can't afford it as it is right now. "Cheap" gas here is $3.08 a gallon. Let everyone else know as well. If you want to write, the address is...

Gotta try something!!!!!!!!

Looks like a great government solution to Road Rage. People pulling out of the gas station. Lets piss em off even more!
They ask us to do our part. Remain calm. Report agressive driving.

Why the heck aren't they doing their part and regulating this stuff already.
Supply and demand excuse is BS. This crap happens every friggin summer! The oil companies are playing the government and we are the unfortunate recipients. Oil companies are making record profits!

I blame the regulatory commision and the government.

It's a shame that if you don't like a restaurant, you don't eat there. You hit them where their wallet is. But with the oil companies and electric companies, you are at their mercy. "What.......you don't want our power because it's too high.......go somewhere else". Well, at least power you have a good expensive alternative in solar (mostly on west coast). An average house investment of around 20 - 40 grand, it will pay for itself after 10 years or so. But what can we do about the gas problem. One way is to boycott using the major players (Exxon, Shell, & other large corps), and buy from the little man. If all of America would do this for one whole week, think about the outcome it would have. Ride a bike to and from the store (if possible). Start up a car pool organization business, and buy gas from the small companies. Now, think about if you did this for an entire month? I know, jobs will be lost, stores will close, but the government and these oil companies will see we mean business. There has to be a movement started, and people need to look at the alternative's. Before boarding a transit bus, find out what gas they use. Same for a taxi. Tell them to show you a receipt of their purchase, so you know they can be trusted to keep this going. Call the cab companies and find out what gas they use, and reward the business to the little man.

(stepping off soap box)

I know, I know, but we have to try SOMEthing!!!! Yeah, now the idea is instead of not buying gas for a day, it's avoid the Exxon and Mobil stations. But most people just don't do that. So who wins and who loses, and what changes? They do, we do, and nothing. So prices go up, we continue to pay, they rake in the money, then raise prices again. Gotta do something sometime to at least try and even it out. Cuz this way, we're the only ones that lose.

WBAB Gas Cartel. April 27,2006 Mike's Citco, Exit 39 on Sunrise Highway.

11:00 -2:00. $2.00 per gallon below regular price

Been listening to this for a week now on WBAB. I'd go, but it's in the middle of my work day, and I'm sure it'll be a madhouse.

Can't blame me. I take mass transit to work so I only drive about 8 miles per weekday. Haven't been putting many miles on the garaged hot rod either. Just Rediculous!

Why people drive SUV's to begin with?

Get a small pothole or bump in the road and they slow down anyway?????

I'm in a sports car and the other day I had to honk at an SUV that slowed down at one of these potholes leftover from yard work.

You got suspension, 4 wheel drive, your 2 feet off the ground. Wake up!

Like this soccer mom I saw in the park the other day. Pulls up in this huge Escalade. Kid gets out with one bat and one glove. How does she justify that huge vehicle????????
They are ruining it for the rest of us.

Well, now they are paying through the nose for fuel. They are usually the ones to complain first.

New bumper sticker.

I JUST GOT JUST AS FAR AS YOU DID. FOR 1/2 THE COST OF FUEL

Yeah, especially in my cars because I sit low to the ground. Last week I rented a Toyta Corolla while my Nissan was in the shoppe. I felt like I was riding high. Felt very weird. But the gas mileage was outstanding.

Come visit and you can drive it. But I ain't leaving it in that madhouse PNC parking lot. Never had anything happen to a car I parked there before and I don't want to either. Some reason when you park a showroom clean car like it in the lot people draw to it like a magnet.
