An old friend of mine used to manage Type O back in the 80's. He was a guy who worked for a management company called Loud and Proud. My friend also managed White Lion, Tora Tora, Overkill, Type O just to name a few. They had a decent biz - then grunge happend!

I will probably pickup this DVD eventually, but I am disappointed they released a show from 1999 and neglected the 2003 Life Is Killing Me CD and Tour. That, to me, is the best Type O Cd to come out since Bloody Kisses...
I hope they come out with a new album soon and it sounds just as good, if not better, than the last album..we shall see.
Too bad about Loud and Proud Mgmt, that was definitely a great lineup of bands to happen in the late 80's. Do you know if this company happened to manage Pete Steele's previous band, Carnivore??? That is one band I wish I could have seen reunite in the mid 90's because I got into them after their reunion...wish they would do something again in the future...

Jim:
I'm not sure, but I don't think so. The guy who was the President of Loud and Proud was the guy who owned L'Amour in Brooklyn. My friend Ken Kriete was a DJ at L'Amour and also did the management thing for Loud and Proud. He wanted hire me to work at Loud and Proud, but I wasn't about to commute to Brooklyn every day even though it was my dream job! Anway, After Loud and Proud dissolved and L'Amour closing, he started his own talent agency. We lost touch after L'Amour closed and then got back in touch after it re-opened. Now that it closed again, we also lost touch again. Ken was my "teacher" in learning stuff about the band management biz. He's a really cool dude. if I ever get back in touch with him again, I will ask him about Carnivore!

IMHO...the sound quality on the LIKM tour likely wasn't that good and I think Pete's vocals weren't his best.
The setlist wasn't all that terrific and they dissapointed me by not playing any other songs from the CD other than "I Don't Wanna Be Me".
I would have loved to hear "Todd's....." or "I LIke Goils" or "Nettie" or even the title track....unfortunately they did NONE of these.(see below)
Unsuccessfully Coping w/the Natural Beauty of Infidelity
Wolf Moon
Everyone I Love is Dead
Black Sabbath intro / Christian Woman
Love You to Death
World Coming Down
Kill All the White People
My Girlfriend's Girlfriend
Pain (Prelude to Agony, SDH)
I Don't Wanna Be Me
Black No. 1
1999 was (as you can see) a much better set...(longer too as they played closer to 1:45) as opposed to the 1:15 they were doing in 2003 as they were alternating headlining duties with Lacuna Coil....
That being said...with the way things are these days in the music biz....
I'm just grateful that some of these bands that I've loved for so many years are still together and even putting ANYTHING out for my own personal enjoyment. The "box" is now yours Mal....

Ok cool Doorman, I am sold! Thanks for bringing up some great points! I will definitely pickup this DVD as soon as I can...and your right, the setlist on this is very cool! If its anything like the Biohazard video I have from this same exact gig that Type O was on and filmed their DVD, I am sure the Type O show will be very well played and energetic! Thanks again!
Btw, according to this site, it comes out 3/14...http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7039279&style=movie&cart=308160715&BAB=M
