My R30 Review

My present came early at my office, as I had nothing to do, so I cranked up the Altec Lansings and watched the entire show. There is no comparison to Rush In Rio. The sound is superb. No loud chants, just more video of the band. The video is excellent in Anamorphic view. Everyone always wishes for something or comments how it could have been better, but I think this is fine the way it is. The deluxe set came with 2 picks (Alex & Ged), and a R30 decal tour sticker. The second DVD has some bonus stuff and vintage material. I briefly watched this while flipping through picture book.

The joyus thing about watching the DVD is......they are not done. They are writting the new material for another studio album, and possible tour to follow. I believe they will be coming down to the south in 2006 / 2007 in support of Katrina / Rita. That show will be one I will not miss.

In closing, this DVD is a must have for all fans of Rush.

This DVD is awesome!!!! It is LIGHT on 1970's material, but they do a instrumental mix of 70's classics to start off the show...but if you like concert dvd's and are a Rush fan, you cannot go wrong with this at all! The sound and picture is OUTSTANDING!
