Who else here enjoys the music and sound of RUSH? My friend is so awesome and got me an advanced copy of their latest two-set dvd RUSH-R30, which comes out on NOV 22nd, since she works at umvd and its a must have if you like them. The dvd is in order to celebrate the bands 30th anniversary together so it includes a Germany concert they did in 2004, which was filmed with high definition cameras so the sound and video quality is great. The dvd also contains footage of the bands work, music, and interviews, that they have done throughout the year so its pretty cool to have that all on one dvd to look over the bands journey together. Here is an article on the dvd if you'd like more information: http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/sanctuary/rush_r30.htm

Ive been doing Rush ever since I rode in David Wells' car in 1978 and he had 2112 blasting on the 8 track.

Some people say that they only had one album, the one with the guys carrying paintings.

Can't wait to see it - then all I need is a big screen HD TV for Christmas to watch it on - along with the Cream HD DVD which is also awesome !

To the person who asked who RUSH is, they are a progressive rock band that has been around since the 1970s and are amazing, especially with Neil Peart on the drums. I've been a fan of their work since as long as I can remember since their music was always played around my house when I was younger.

It was meant as a Joke. I don't think theres anyone on this site thats not a Rush Fan.

When I was young I tried to steal their 2112 album when it first came out but I was told that I can't have something for nothing. So I had to buy it. I was a freshman in Highschool at the time.

Must of seen them in concert at least 1/2 dozen times over the years. Seen the flip the sticks in the air and all. Actually once seen him blow a stick right through his drum. Rodie had to re-skin it as the concert still went on.

Went on Bestbuy's website...R30 without the cd's is $19.99 and R30 Deluxe Edition is $27.99 this week....so I am all over the Deluxe Edition! I am glad there is such a low difference in the price between the standard and deluxe release! I am definitely grabbing this!

Also, new Maiden DVD out this coming Tuesday if anyone cares and on CD, a Rolling Stones Rarities disc....

I ordered mine about a month ago, and paid a little more (Amazon.com). The benefit is I ordered it through Upromise.com. It is a special account for my kids with every purchase from various companies, earns a discount that goes to my account. This is great for people just starting out that need to save for the future. You earn for spending through the website. So I'm happy to spend a little more, as the price is offset somewhat by the savings.

I have that Upromise account as well, its a great thing! I mean, if I have to use my card, might as well have some of the proceeds go to my daughter's college fund right?

I was torn about which version to get, but now that I have Best Buy gift cards to use and there is only an $8 difference in price, I am getting the Deluxe Edition! Should be a good one..

Btw, new Maiden dvd supposedly pushed back till 2/06..but new Stones rarities disc is out tomorrow as well...
