Anyone here read The DaVinci Code?
Alot of talk as the movie will be coming out.
I'm not a big reader let alone a novel but hearing so many great things about this. Any opinions are welcome.

I bought the book for my 17 year old son (he may be a juvenile delinquent, but he loves to read and had to have the hard cover copy, $25.00 later) about 2 years ago. So it is in my house, but I am not much for reading myself. My son said it was very very interesting! Also, many people in my church choir read this book and couldn't put it down. I may have to look for the book and force myself to read it...........nah.......I'll just go see the movie.

Then again, I'm just so into musicals, I REALLY want to see "RENT". Thanksgiving weekend I'm gonna go see that!
Five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes......how do you measure a year in the life!

the davinci code is actually the 2nd of 2 books
(1st being angels and devils?, not sure something wihth devils)
heard a lot about it and not a bad comment about it-
should be a real good read -not interested in it myself.

StiX read this book and had all the other books that went with it- breaking the code etc.

I personally never read it but have seen some documentaries on it on the History Channel. I find the whole concept very interesting and certainly a possibility.

We can't wait for the movie to come out. I'm anticipating it like I did with Mel Gibson's movie The Passion.

The first book was called"Angels And Demons". Both books were good reads, good fiction!!!

yea - fiction - just read the bible,
its more accurate "fiction" - is that sacreligious for me to say?
i dont mean it that way - its just like telephone -
stories told over and over - with certain things put in or left out,
not too mention the language translations........

I don't think that is sacreligious to say that - I agree that it's fiction - more like "fables" to keep ancient man in check - and then modern man winds up mis-interpreting it and twisting it to fit their own dogma's and beleifs - I don't mean to be sacreligious either - I was raised catholic and now work for a catholic organization, although since growing up I kinda more "agree" with the Buddhist ways and religion - I saw some of that "Davinci Code" stuff on the history channel too - it's interesting, but I don't know if I buy into any of that "fortune-telling" stuff - If any of that was true, more people would be winning lotteries and horse races etc., plus some cosmic person would have come up with a way to eliminate disease and famine by now. But, I am just an opinionated pleeb, I don't really know anything! (I still don't think it's sacreligious though) :)

Good book. I am an avid reader I am addicted to James Patterson at the moment. There is nothing like a good book! (ok there is but I am just trying to stick to the thread) LOL...

My Aunt who thinks the only religion that exists in the world is being Catholic, found the Davinci Code "disturbing"!

I think we should all chip in and buy a copy for the Doorman for his Chrismakah present!

For those of you who don't know what "Chrismakah is, it is just like "Festivus", only different. Not to worry Ira, we will fill your stocking!!!!!
