Anyone Ever Hear Of This Group

BACK IN THE MID 80'S THERE WAS A GROUP FROM BALTIMORE MARYLAND CALLED "MANNEQUIN" OR "MANNEKIN" ANYWAY THEY WOULD MAKE A STOP IN B.R. LA ABOUT 2 TO 3 TIMES A YEAR, THEY WERE AN AWESOME COVER BAND, HAD SOME COOL ORIGINALS ALSO, THEY COVERED "YES" ROUNDABOUT, KANSAS, CARRY ON, DID A LOT OF BOSTON AND ZEPP COVERS AND SOME TRIUMPH. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE MUSICIANS, AWESOME KEYBOARD PLAYER, AWESOME VOCALIST. THEY BASICALLY JUST VANISHED, NEVER HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. I WAS SURE THAT THIS GROUP WOULD MAKE THE BIG TIME, MAYBE A COUPLE OF THESE GUYS DID, ANYWAY DID ANY OF YOU OUT THERE EVER HEAR OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GROUP??????????

YES THEY DID, I REMEMBER TALKING TO THEIR GUITARIST AND THEY HAD PLAYED A HOUSTON SHOW THE NIGHT BEFORE, AND HE WAS TELLING ME HOW MUCH THEY LIKED THEM IN HOUSTON!!!! THIS GROUP WAS REALLY INCREDIBLE, I'VE TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING TO FIND OUT WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THEM, HOPING SOMEONE OUT THERE HAS A CLUE!!!!!!!!!

i have this old tape that my bro made for me called "the roots of metal". Just the band names are on there. Angel has a song on there and i love it. Also on the tape > superstition with carmine appice, UFO, Johnny Winter, The runaways, ten years after, bto, robin trower, status quo, cheap trick, wishbone ash (this band sounds like a pre iron maiden band, maybe maiden was heavily influenced by these guys?), hawkind, blue oyster cut, spooky tooth (awesome version of "i am the walrus"), motorhead, jack bruce. .about blaze - some people here (B.R.) think he's a thief(just a rumour). there was talk that he ducked out on a trade, and certain people cannot reach him, and keep getting the runaround? I know he battled drugs for a while, but he's amazing. I have to say that i prefer the lilian axe days; it just seemed more exciting. I'm not really into dark stuff, but i respect the guy and wish him well. I may check out their (near life experience) CD.

I HAVE ALL NLE ON CD STEVE IS A VERY GOOD SONG WRITER HE HAS HAD ALOT OF RECORD DEALS THROWN HIS WAY IN THE LAST COUPLD OF YEARS HOW EVER HE KNOWS THE BUISNESS PRETTY DAMN GOOD HE TOLD ME THAT ITS NOT WORTH SIGNING WITH A SMALL RECORD LABEL BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF FUNDS AND MOST LIKELY YOU WILL BE SHIPPED OFF TO EUROPE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS ONLY TO MAKE NO MONEY. AT THIS TIME HE IS SHOPPING HIS NEW MUSIC WITH SOME HIGH END PEOPLE WITH MAJOR LABELS.
