Lorain County was hit hard with those storms... nast thunderboomers and high winds every 15 minutes.
My neigbor across the street flooded 3 feet in her basement, and the neighbors next door flooded almost as bad. My back yard was a lake, and we had to rescue my potted veggies... hopefully my in ground stuff was not drowned!
My basement faired OK... we were so worried about pumping out our neighbors water, and it dawned on me to check our house. I have a little pantry room that was put under our small addition that flooded, thank goodness we got the music equipment out fo the way, sopped up the mess, and ran the dehumidifier... thank goodness we got off that lucky. I do not get it as my next door neighbors' foundation is only about 5 feet from mine! :eek:
