What would you do if you showed up to your straitlaced British boarding school and were told that former fire-breathing, tongue-flicking KISS bassist Gene Simmons was your new teacher? Such is the premise of VH1's newest reality show, "Gene Simmons' Rock School." In just six weeks, Simmons' task is to turn a group of the school's classically trained 13-year-olds into head-banging rock gods -- all in anticipation of an opening spot at a Motorhead concert. The kids at Christ's Hospital School are as disapproving of Simmons' hedonistic lifestyle as he is reluctant to live sedately in the English countryside. Will Gene inspire these students to greatness? Stay tuned.

Wasn't this a movie with Jack Black? All efforts of getting the youth more involved with music.

Ok well I havent slept well in days so I welcome this show tonight at 11pm, should pass out within the 1st 5/10 minutes :D

What the hell is Gene's problem doing a show like this! Why Gene Why! Dont you have enough $$$? Get Kiss back into the studio and put out a kickass CD like Revenge!!!

the kids can't be too disapproving, or there won't be a show. Is hollywood on some sort of rockstar trend ... iicckkk! What about the real thing? Should be interesting though.. Does anyone feel that Gene is sort of ruining the Kiss legacy with all of his antics? I have to say that it's starting to turn me off.

well the dude was on american idol,
should have been a big red flag!
but no matter what Gene is still my fave,
wont watch it though - dont like tv much

I think we should all be reminded that he was a school teacher, once upon a time. What else can a nice Jewish boy do, when he's not in the top 10 anymore?

Those kids must be really sheltered if they NEVER heard of Gene. Either a big rock or an awfully big hole.
