that is cool for the serious collecter,
wonder why he/she is selling
They'll get a pretty penny for that.
Still sealed and never used. Probably will remain sealed because there isn't any turntables around anymore to play them on.

WELL....I must be a dinosaur too(or showing my age!). A few years ago, ditched my direct-drive turntable for a belt drive. Lets face it, there are TONS of titles out there that'll NEVER see the light of day on CD, and if they did, the vinyl still would sound better.
By the scans, I see problems with this set. The ones with the black stickers(*LIMITED EDITION*) are CRAPPY re-issues from a couple of years ago that sound horrendous. I listened to a few plus every music magazine ragged the quality. I have UK/Odeon(german) pressings that sound better than this and those aren't virgin vinyl or 1st issues. Even the boomy MFSL box sounds better than this stuff.
Besides, the seller don't know the catalog! "Introducing The Beatles, The Beatles Story, And Magical Mystery Tour" were U.S. albums(MMT was EP's in England). I just looked at the bottom of the ad, and I see a LOT of printed in the USA. Not necessarily the quality of stuff you're expecting.
Looks like another case of "caveot emptor" (let the buyer beware!)
Aren't we lucky we have a MACCA before anyone bid on this one????? ;)

Just another "fine" product at E-Bay! The sad part about the "Limited Editions" is that they're not cheap! I haven't seen a catalog lately, but they were going for $30 each. For that kind of money, you'd expect better quality than that.
