BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) -- Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro wide receiver Terrell Owens missed practice Wednesday for the fifth time in six days because of a left groin injury.

Owens is day to day, and the injury isn't considered serious. He's had groin problems in the past.

Owens worked out with the team's assistant trainer for about 20 minutes on a separate playing field from his teammates, catching balls from a machine and doing some light running. He did not speak to reporters or acknowledge the fans who chanted his name.

The All-Pro receiver sat out practices last Friday and Saturday. He returned Sunday for both the morning and afternoon sessions, but hasn't practiced since.

Owens is unhappy the Eagles have refused to redo his contract as he enters the second season of a seven-year, $48.97 million deal.

Last season, Owens had 77 receptions for 1,200 yards and a franchise-record 14 touchdowns before severely injuring his ankle late in the season. He missed the final two regular-season games and the first two playoff games before returning for the Super Bowl, in which he had nine receptions for 122

The latest is he was scheduled to do a mandatory autograph session with the fans and refused. He had a fight with Coach Reid and he went home. Seems "T.O." needs to be put in "Time Out", little wuss. All those millions of dollars thrown on such a waste of talent. He complained that "He needs to support his family". HEY TERRELL, THE LAST TIME I CHECKED, A WHOPPER WITH CHEESE COSTED THE SAME HERE IN NEW ORLEANS AS IT DID IN PHILLY........STOP EATING CAIVIER AND DRINKING DOM PERRION AND YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO LIVE COMFORTABLY. THERE IS MORE TO EATING LOBSTER EVERY NIGHT. Sounds like he is spending to much on drugs. :D

where do i sign up?

i love when they forecast 5 days ahead it is technically
impossible to give an accurate weather forecast past 48hrs!
its all guesstimation, some are good at it - others just still get paid,
i love predicting the weather-I took a college course and
my lab group (3 of us) won for the semester!
we did better than the f'in weather channel!
its a tough thing to do - a lot of factors involved,
and todays weather has a bigger effect on tommorows
suprisingly enough!

Somebody needs to re-introduce T.O., that a$$hole agent Rosenhaus and the rest of the over-paid primma-donnas to the woodshed. Must be nice, you sign a big FAT contract LAST year, then you want to "re-negotiate" it next year? "Scuse me...you are UNDER CONTRACT NOW......honor it.

Funny, all these muscle pulls and groin injuries --- looks like some people either aren't in shape, or just not stretching enough.

The rest of the league seems to be united on this: piss on ya. You know what you got into when you got this bastard. Damn, I miss the old days when the coaches coached and the players played.....PERIOD!

should have seen his halftime interview (pre-season chargers - packers) last nite on ESPN. what a loser !!! ... he also stated that he did the team right by signing a waiver to play in Super Bowl even though doctors advised against it and that if he got hurt it could have ended his career. team denies that waiver ever happened or was even offered.
