Stevie Wonder a Dad Again at 55
Mon Jun 6, 12:53 PM
LOS ANGELES - There was quite a 55th birthday surprise for entertainer Stevie Wonder - the birth of his seventh child.
Wonder and his fashion designer wife Kai Millard Morris announced Monday that they are the proud parents of a boy born May 13, the singer's 55 birthday. It was the couple's first child.
Mandla Kadjaly Carl Stevland Morris weighed 7-pounds, 8-ounces and was 20-inches long, publicist Howard Bragman said. Mandla means Powerful/Defiant in Zulu and Kadjaly is Swahili for Born From God, the spokesman said in a news release.
No other details were released.
"It's a perfectly healthy family," Bragman said Monday, noting Wonder was an extremely private person.
It was Wonder's seventh child, Bragman said.
The Grammy-winning singer is currently in the studio completing his "A Time To Love" album, his first in 10 years.

How in the hell are you able to enjoy a newborn at 55 years old? I dont know man, to each their own, but there comes a time in a man's life when he just needs to relax....Well Congrats to Stevie and the family for the birth of their child...
Larry King has a toddler of like 2 or 3 years old and King is in his 70's. Now that's crazy. He'll never see the kid graduate high school.
So the kid will be rich but not have his father for long. Selfish F on King's part.

Congrats for Stevie, but I don't think he gave the kid enough names. He should tack on about 3 or 4 more....

What is the hell is wrong with these bozos? Yeah, its nice to have another baby, BUT...you have to draw the line(age wise) when you just got to stop. Lets see....by the time the child graduates from high school, *dad* will be 73. Hopefully, he'll be healthy enough to be active as he grows up, and not some shell of his former self. It just isn't fair to the child.

I just read that Rod Stewart's girlfriend/fiance is pregnant and
their child is due in December. Rod is 60 and not yet divorced from
his last wife Rachel Hunter. The newspaper said they have been
separated since 1999 and that Rachel had filed for divorce soon
after that, only to drop it later. Rachel & Rod have two children
together. Rod plans to marry his latest after his divorce is final....

That's what I'm here for. Felix cuts me a check every month for the comic relief I lend to the board. That and I have to promise never to drive the Zebra car! ( too many other cars always seem to hit me )

Seriously speaking, and I do that so rarely. I think the birth of any baby is a joyous event that can truly never be compared to any other thing in this world. If I had my choice as to what news I'd like to hear it would always be news like this no matter what age the parent is. It will always be better than hearing "a plane has just flown into one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center"

i'm kinda on the side of the fact that the child will never know his
father as an adult, but damn he cant see!
thats one sense id never want to be without!
so if he can make babies well..........
Thats pretty selfsish.
When I first read the thread topic I thought it said Stevie Wonder dead at 55, but a dad? He might be old and blind but apparently he still has his mojo going for him.

Burns his blind dads money.
His son comes up with a remake of Manfred Manns
'Blinded By The light'
as he stares at money going up in flames.
