And them 10:30 starts! AHHHHHH! I wish they would start earlier. Just like Zebra. I'm a domesticated old man anymore. Though partying ain't out of my vocabulary yet, them venues where you get home at 2-3 in the morning is a killer. At that time I'd probably get mauled by a bear in my front yard when I get home.

the show was great, and the crazy donkey is a really nice place! unfortunately, because there was 5 bands/musicians...4 played for a 1/2 hour or less. the crowd grew bigger as the night went on.

randy played for 20 minutes (after he guzzled a red bull!). did a medley of most of the first album and did the whole version of four sticks-which was awesome! the crowd really got into it. eddie trunk came out after randy played, tossed some t-shirts and introduced joe lynn turner. jlt played for an hour and fifteen minutes. again, the crowd was diggin the music. his band sounded phenomenal, but i knew that since i had already seen bruce (bass) and Karl (lead guitar) play as voodoland. some of the songs jlt played:

stone cold

jacknife (off of usual suspects)
devils daughter (off of usual suspects)

had a great time, and it was a fairly early night. jlt finished at 12:30am. i played hooky form work today. i had no voice when i woke up this morning :D

It Was A Great Show... I Was Blown Away By Karl Cochran's Playing... He Didn't Miss A Lick!!! Joe Lynn Turner's Voice Was Awesome... He Also Can Play Guitar Pretty Good!!! He Did Some Kick Ass Leads!!! Race Odyssey Kicked Ass!!! Randy Was Really Mis-placed... He Shoulda Went On 1st!!! They Went Form Zo2 To Randy To Jlt... The Crowd Really Enjoyed It But I Don't Think You Should Ever Put An Acoustic Show After 3 Highly Charged Electric Bands, Then Back To A Electric Band!!! The Sound Man Really ****ed!!! This Guy Was Running Around Like A Chicken Without A Head!!! Turning The Mics And Guitars Up And Down In The P A All Night!!! He Couldn't Even Get Randy's Mic And Guitar Levels Right!!! What A Bozo!!! There Was Another Guy There Who Took Over For A While And Did A Good Job... Then The Bozo Would Come Over And Adjust A Knob And ***** The Sound Up Again... It Was Very Distracting But Overall The Bands Were All Great!!!

Personally, my favorite part was the in between set gyrating girl in the fishnet body stocking, bra and thong! Funny Bobby, you never mentioned that. Apparently gastric by-pass surgery does not interfere with your ablility to drool!
