Can any of you peeps tell me something about this event? I can't find much in my search. Trying to plan a trip down your way for the fall.

Guitarplyr and Jen usually attend this. I've gone a few years ago. It is CROWDED.

It kicked major ass last year!!! If you can, try to stay near Canal St. or in the French Quarter. That way you can walk to the Sheraton downtown and catch a shuttle that will take you to City Park to see the show and back downtown afterwards. You can drink all you want and not have to worry about driving. That's the way that we do it!!!!

Thanks for the info and suggestions... I had checked out voodoomusicfest.com before i put the post up, but I was looking for information on the 2005 festival.

My next question is, are there any Halloween (scary) type festivals in NOLA during Halloween weekend that would be cool to go to?

No. The Foo Fighters played at the Howlin' Wolf and I missed them!!! I remember that you two were so wasted from the night before that we didn't even get to see you! :mad:

Maybe so, but I have seen some VERY memorable shows at that hot ass place!!!!!!

I can handle the heat in ANY venue, its the filth that bothered me at The Wolf.

My favorite is NOLA.COM Let me know what dates you are planning Sue. I wanted to fly down in November or something to visit my favorite peeps again!!! :D That is of course if you don't mind the company, I am going to Disney from the 10th thru the 17th so.....
