As I said in the Zebra Theif thread, I am takin a break till tonight..... one cool thing.......

Some of you know that when I was recording with Dee in Cali, my deaf Jack Russel terrior, Miss Sadie Marie( the one that pooped all over Schlitz's bedrrom floor) , got out of the house, and she was never found.

Well, broken hearted, my Step Monkey, Jesse and me HAD to have another dog.

We found at Pet Smart a pic of a beautiful Golden retreiver-jack Russel mix 22 lb (6 month old) "Izzy" in their Dog rescue catalog.

We immediatly adopted this wonderful dog, already fixed, shots, house-broken doggie.

The girls at the rescue called the dog "Dizzy" because she was such a nut. We kept the name because she is a tad crazeee.

Well, today my husband found it cute to tackle me and "spank" me because i was pickin on him for his balding head. :p

I was bitching and hollaring at my hubby that I did want spanked. that dog charged him and took a minute not to break skin, because she knew it was Daddy, grabbed with her teeth his sleeve of his sweatshirt. the louder I hollared, the more she tried to grab his sleeve and pull him away from me.

When Daddy goes to work, and I go upstairs to the powder room or our room, she waits on the middle of the staircase and growls at people and cars passing by.

As with Daddy she knew somehow not to really bite, but a burglar I think would be hard pressed if I hollared like I did at my Husband. She would eat them alive. She is now 30 lbs, and fully mature. Hmmm...

Just keep in mind rescue dogs are worth thr price you pay for spay/neutering, shots, so on and so forth.

Pretty good the dog already knows who the master is and who she should be protecting. Puggs does similarly, sitting on the back of the couch looking out the window barking at everything that goes by.

When I take pugg's for a walk, he won't bother with other dogs passing as their owners take them for a walk. But if the other dog growls or barks at him or me then Puggs attacks. You started it, Puggs will finish it. :D

Puggs has a special hate for Harley's. The other day walking him a Harley went by on the road and puggs lunged at the motorcycle rider. I had to restrain him with the leash.

And my cat dingleberry I named because she I first got her 18 years ago in the fall. She would look up and then attack leave as they fell out of the tree. I though she acted kind of Dingy so I ended up naming her Dingleberry.
Another cat Pisscus passed away a few years ago. I wanted to give the cat a name that she would come too and thats what I came up with.
I just reach down, rub my two fingers together and make the sound
PSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSCCCCSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
and she came running.

It's the little dogs that always have the attitude! I Love it!!!

Thats why I call him Tazmanian puggs. Once walking through petsmart with my ex and her German Shepard. The shepard was like Puggs sister. But as we walked by another big retriever the retriever suprisingly growl at the sheppard. Me walking behind with Puggs would not have it. Growling at his sister. He still had a bit of loose leash. He jumpped on the retrievers back, nipped like 6-7 times then jumpped back off with his chest out looking over that retriever. He was like 'Cmon, you want a piece of me'. It was like a switch inside him just went on then back off for a few seconds.
The retriever owner was like, 'Wow, I didn't know them little dogs had it in them'.

A golden retriever jack russell mix? Hard to picture it but you got genes from two very smart dogs.

Kudos to you for your rescue. I hope you have many years of happiness with it.

ANother cute thing with Miss Dizzy. My little cousins were here today as i still needed a break, and promised my cousin my services....

My dawg..... Laid on the floor let the infant grab, pull ears, BITE HER!!!! the four year old, was riding her back, and THIS DAWG laid in the yard and allowed the 4 year old to pour his pink cool-aid all over her!

She just knows who the babies are.... and I learned a fast lesson that a baby will not only eat everyhting it picks up, but will attempt to taste the doggie, too!

brings to mind a question i have for the mommies. I have never had my own baby... taken care of a few, and my cuz is a laid back, but loving mom. Everybody else I have taken care of babies for were fussy and protective.

The baby is 9 months. She says it is Ok to cut solid regular big people food up and serve it to him..... I never was allowed this before with an infant that age (usually stage 2 or three baby food)

She did not bring baby food, so I mashed a banana, pureed some mac n cheese with no salt and pepper, and pureed peas.... gave him cherrios to snack on. a small dish of kids applesauce after his nappy.

Great Grannie, who never says a word, pitches a bitch about it.

So therefore I pureed. Grannie still says the food is too rich for the baby who two weeks ago was still on baby cereal, and stage 2....

Opinions??????

I don;t watch them all that often, but cuz/auntie Aprillee tends to be over-nurturing.
