I will be spending a week in Taipei, Taiwan at the end of May/Begining of June. Has anyone been there? Are there things I should see? I also have a day and a half layover in Hong Kong on the way home. Any recommendations there?

From what I've heard, you'll only see sex and drugs.....just be sure to take the rock & roll.

There is a cool amusement park in Hong Kong called Ocean Park. It's on the side of a mountain...very unique. You could also go to the casinos, take a tour on the HydroFoil, or take a ride on the Peak Tram. As with any city, there will be plenty for you to occupy yourself with...
Don't know anything about Taipei though.

I agree with Jukebox, watch what you eat. My pal Steve has been there, and said he was eating a burger and it was totally gray, while cats ran all over the resturant. He also said it was the best damn burger he ever had, now excuse me while I puke in my mouth.
When in Rome,Do as the Romans.Besides if it taste good, who cares what's in it?
