As a I said before, Zebra is one of those select groups that consist of only 3 members. Which group is you all time favoritest?

Please use this poll as the official Favoritest Trio one. The other one omitted Zebra by mistake. Mountain may or may not be a trio (the reformed version was, but the original (Best) one was a quartet), but I have to plead guilty to plagiarism for some of these choices from Uncut magazine which had a brief Cream article (in honor of their reunion) and then their own list of GREAT ROCK TRIOS which included Mountain. I should've done more research before posting my poll.

Also, it would be cool for you guys to post why you chose a particular trio as your favorite. Thanks.

With ZZ Top in the Honorable Mentions Dept.

Gotta dig the Grand Funk, though...................

Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble.

These should be all the posts from the first "messed up" poll I created (which should now be deleted.

ZZ, Triumph and SRV+DT are ALL great trios! Thanks for the suggestions.

Beck and Levin are 2 of my most favorite musicians in the world. Get them together with a drummer like Peart/Copeland/Bozzio and you might have the most musically talented trio in Rock history!

Beck's Guitar Shop trio of Tony Hymas and Terry Bozzio was pretty good too.

King's X is da bomb! Loved "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska", "Faith Hope Love" and "Ear Candy."

Husker Du - Bob Mould's old group could sure brew up a sh*tstorm of controlled choas. Dude, you need to create some polls!

just a suggestion but I think we should have left Zeb out of this one. Its kind of a given who will win here because we know who is best. but it's your poll.

I normally would pick Zebra in any poll because they are the bomb, but this one I pretended Zebra was not in the poll and picked RUSH!
