On Sunday Feb. 16th...Mr Beery Hosts The Battle Of The Bands To Help Destroy "Cystic Fibrosis". Last year over $20,000 was donated for this cause. There will be 24 Bands in 20 hours performing including Randy Jackson, Race Odyssey,Kerry Keirney Band,Finally Balanced(as all donated thier time last year to help) just to name a few !! This is a Great Sunday to be out to enjoy Great Long Island Rock N Roll for a Good Cause !!....More News Update Coming Soon !! Check out The Good Times,Island Ear & Local Listings about the Event !! Mr Beery added 5 more bands !! There is now 29 bands in 21 hours !! Can't fit in any more Rock N Roll than that !!

This is a great cause. I lost a cousin to CF a few years back and I am a carrier myself (you need 2 carriers to have a child with CF).
I doubt I will make it because my car is still being put back together, but I would urge everyone who can to make this.

Hey Johnny do you know the line-up for tommorow's gig I noticed on another thread that Randy goes on around 5pm after you. If that's correct does that mean you go on around 4 pm ? And who's before you and after Randy?- Thanks

What a great cause! My first cousin dated a guy while she was in high school (many years ago and was her true love) who had CF and sadly, he passed away at the age of 18. His sister has it, but her's is more controlled. Fate is twisted sometimes....

I asked Steve Beery what 65 Roses meant .........
he said :" Children with Cystic Fibrosis try to pronounce it & it comes out 65 Roses"..........Whoa, My Heart just bled when I heard this !! I'm in for whatever it takes to help destroy this disease !!

Bobby...Randy should hit the stage at 5:00 & Race Odyssey at 5:30...Theres 30 bands...Schedules are pretty crazy but, Beery works it well !! I'll Be Boozin at 3:00 !!!:cool: Let's Get Wild !!

Race Odyssey was great, as was Randy (when he got there!!)
Maybe his nickname can be "Randy-come-lately"? Nah, doesn't work like Johnny's name does!
The night was totally worth the trip I took to Citibank to clean out Swan's checking account!!:D :D

You know Swan, when I first got together with John, his Mom was so encouraging for us to get engaged and live together. Her sales pitch to me was "think of how much money you'll save!!"
Oh yeah, the amount of money I saved??!!
SOOOOOO much money, in fact, that I actually would need an entire THIMBLE to hold it!!!

Of course! I would never buy hookers, drink alcohol & snort some blow- unless it was for a good cause. :) Iam just a pillar of this community.

I really like to "Thank" all of you guys & gals for making the Benefit a success !! Massive amounts of people came thru those doors !! Every band was very good !! Mr. Beery gave his ALL !! Thanx for the Great Crowd Response for "Race Odyssey" !! & I'd like to thank myself for responding when "Randy" Rocked the House !! HE IS JUST THE BEST !!
