This one's mainly for Jim, but anyone can chime in.

I've just recently heard two tunes by Shadowsfall. I like what I hear so far.
Any thoughts?

The Art of Balance and The War Within are solid metal offerings for the 2000 decade. This band is heating up and has very good musicians...guitar playing, singer sings melodically but also death metal style, their current drummer is very good also. If you are the downloading type before buying cd's, download a bunch of songs from these 2 records and see what you think. I happen to dig this band a great deal....definitely one of my favorite "newer bands" who released their debut albums in the 2000 decade.

Btw David, not to get off the subject here, I am unsure if you are gonna like this band, but I think the band 'Neglect' may be worth your time. They were around from 1991-1995 and are one of the best hardcore/metal crossover bands that ever came out of Long Island. These guys were a decent draw in Europe and had a pretty fanatical following in the NY area in the mid 1990's. If you want, you can download a track from their new retrospective CD right here...http://revhq.com/store.revhq?Page=search&Id=NGS09

If you like what you hear, you can buy this new CD for a $10 money order at this location...http://www.ngsrecords.com

If you are gonna buy the Neglect CD, email the label at ngsrecords@comcast.net to make sure the CD is still in stock before sending them money. If you send them a money order, make sure leave the section of the money order where you make it payable to BLANK. You can write your name and address on there, but that is it! This way, you can get the CD much faster and avoid any hassles...just so u know ahead of time in case you choose to purchase...

Btw, forgive me for getting off the subject again, I have been hearing good things about this band from your hometown area in Houston called Die Young. Ever hear of these guys? I hear they are also a decent metal/hardcore crossover band...I dont know, maybe u heard of them, maybe not...but they are from Houston so that is cool!
