First it was O & A, now Ron & Fez. What the heck happened to my beloved station WNEW?...(where Rock lives!) Any other fans out there???...
Just felt like venting, that's all...........What's going to happen to Eddie Trunk?.........

Well, this article was in Newsday Friday, so I think a lot of people knew that the format was going to change really soon....

At least the article points out that the station has been in the toilet since my brother was fired!!
I will miss Ron and Fez here in NY, but I believe they are still on in DC now??

Thanks for the 411 and the links DD. Ratings, of course, is the key motivating factor here and the station certainly does need a change to save itself. I just can't wait for all the litigation to be over with "The Couple From Va." so O & A can get back to doin' what they do best. Hopefully they will "resurface" soon and hope they are doing well on the extended vacation they've been given.

When I was leaving for lunch yesterday, I always turn on Ron and Fez and when I heard music...I was like what the hell happend to this station? It ****s even more - if that's possible.

My fellow inventor, Dawnie is correct in saying that the station had gone to shit when they fired O & A. I was wondering what the fate was going to be with Eddie Trunk. They could've at least let him stay on the radio. Between him and Ron & Fez, that was the only thing the station had left that was going for them.

Well, when O & A take over the airways again, I hope they bring R&F with them and Eddie. At least R & F are still on in DC. We've got taken away all our good radio.

It's only a matter of time berfore 102.7 sicks even lower.....

102.7 has abandoned its talk format and is now playing top 40.
This is temporary until the station decides on its new format.
I am hopeful that they will go back to classic rock and not to the moronic shlock jocks whos listeners have an IQ similar to the temperature outside right now in the metro area.
