They most likely will so u will be able to see them, they may have a tour with 1 or 2 other bands just so they can boost ticket sales, but I would say you will get a 2 hr show next tour for sure....Ozzfest was just a way to reintroduce themselves back in the public eye...

Its also the moolah factor too....this summer is gonna be a busy one for me...I will definitely try though! I wanna make it happen for a 2nd year in a row...last year, Priest was GREAT at Ozzfest!

CR, did you miss it??? Priest headlined Mohegan Sun back in September. They were still on Ozzfest at the time, but it was a "day off" solo headlining show. I think Shadows Fall opened, but not sure about that. Anyway, they did a few headlining shows over the summer on days off, and one was right here in CT!!!

No, EV I remember - Mohegan is WAY too far for us!

Dont worry CR, Priest will be touring solo for you, once the new CD is out, everything will fall into place for you. They HAD to do Ozzfest last year to reintroduce themselves back in the public eye and get people excited for the new record. Ozzfest did GREAT business last year because of this and it was one of the best shows I ever saw...so many bands for the money! (yes, It was still a little pricey, but I was satisfied)

VERY good song. Just heard it yesterday on NY station KRock.....
Oh, by the way for some vintage Priest....my friend just got the Live Aid DVD. They kicked ass there as well and the sound was great!!!

Unfortunately, you are one of the few (that I've seen) that thinks this way.
Don't get me wrong,...that's not meant as a jab at you.
I LOVE JP and I WILL be buying the new CD, but I was less than impressed. I've been on many other message boards and the vast majority of opinions have been less than favorable.
I'm hoping the rest of the CD is better.

I truly hope the CD is great.
I heard the new single. I was a little disappointed.
I guess I was expecting something much heavier and less radio friendly.
It was kinda like when I was so excited about Sammy Hagar joining Van Halen. I was imagining "Unchained" + "There's Only One Way to Rock". I expected some really smoking tunes.
Then came "Why Can't This Be Love".
Maybe I expected too much.
Maybe I'm expecting too much now.
I hope I'm wrong.

I'm happy now.
I've heard clips from the CD and I think I will like it more than I thought after I heard "Revolution".

I heard Revolution on XM this weekend! LOVED IT! The lyrics were a little repetitive, but the music was still heavy. I think they have found a way to keep their sound but incorporate the new as well. In my opinion, they are one of the few heavy metal bands from back in the day that have found a happy medium.
Priest is my most fave band along with The Ryche, so I will for sure be getting this CD. Long live Priest!
