Just want to get my holiday wishes in now, before I am knee deep in gravy, turkey, stuffing and all the other things I'll be cooking between tonight and tomorrow.
Have a healthy and happy Turkey day!

A very happy and healthy to all.
Let's all give thanks for another year of life and good health to bring us to this special holiday. For those here that are experiencing their first Thanksgiving without a loved one, my heartfelt thoughts and prayers. The first one is always the toughest and I promise you, through the passing of time it gets a little better....
Let us also not forget all the brave souls around the world fighting for our freedom and to their families who make a tremendous sacrifice ESPECIALLY during this time of year. Many that serve put their lives on hold as well as their jobs and primary sources of income as their families try to cope without them and the financial hardship that gets left behind.
A special thought and prayer also for those that have payed the ultimate price and those injured and are in a hospital here or overseas......
That being said....enjoy some football, an abundance of food and most of all...enjoy your family!
Love to all....(almost)

Turkey is in the oven at 7:15! A little late, but I went to bed late making other crap that will be eaten in 30 minutes and took 3 days to prepare!

My menu consists of:
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, cranberry sauce, pineapple cranberry sauce, corn, broccoli, creamed onions, turnips, green beans, peas and carrots, biscuits, gravy (plain and giblet) sweet potato pie and of course apple cider!

Dessert:
apple crumb pie, pumpkin pie, chocolate cream pie, rice pudding, chocolate covered strawberries, lemon meringue pie and vanilla ice cream for my daughter who eats none of the aforementioned desserts! Don't know where she came from sometimes.

Have a great day everyone!
