Thanks Nomad. I cant get one past you. You are definitely one of the most polically informed people I know.

But I still think Rush is a hypocrite. I have personally heard him criticize drug users before, (I listen to all types of talk show hosts to stay well informed) then Rush became a drug abuser himself.....as the pot calls the kettle black.... (:

Although you could do a Lexus Nexus search and see that Rush hasn't commented on drug users in almost 10 years.

I do find Rush's addiction to pain medication upsetting. However, most conservatives, as well as most people in general, are able to distinguish the differences between addiction to pain medication because of a medical injury and snorting cocaine before a concert.

I can criticize the latter and sympathize with the former without being a hypocrit.

That being said, you're criticism in this case is well accepted and fair. I may not agree, but it is legitimate.

Thanks Nomad! Believe me I'm not saying ha ha he's a druggie. I just dont believe that people who live in glass houses should throw stones. Do I hope he recovers? Yes. Although not a fan, he is entertaining and yes, well informed, even though I oppose him a lot (but not all) of the time.
