GREAT movie. Karen and I caught it last Friday night. Foxx nailed playing Ray Charles. Try not to make a late feature though.....the movie runs almost 3 hours.

Yes, we really enjoyed the movie. I wanted to see it because:

A. It was filmed here in New Orleans..... and (you'll recognize
the Saenger Theatre in the movie...none of it took place
here - just filmed on location here & around Thibodaux).

B. Because my brother-in-law did special f/x in this one
(he even got on screen recognition in the ending credits).

Don't want to give away any of the story - I'll just recommend
you see it!

Saw this movie. It is incredible! If Jamie Foxx does not get an Academy Award nomination...something is wrong in Hollywood. He did an outstanding job. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to get up and dance. I encourage everyone to see it. Bought the soundtrack...NICE! :)
