I think this whole thing is very sad. I seen three Who concerts last summer, Pete is so idolized by many as an awesome guitarist by millions. I hope and wish it is a misunderstanding even though it is extremely puzzling hearing the evidence. First the death of John and now this. The tour last summer with Robert Plant will still stay as a fond memory dispite of this. I hope things iron out for Pete. I don't know anything about his personal problems, but as far as him doing his job as a performer, he was more outstanding than anyone. I really hope that this is somehow cleared up. Its sad if the media destroys lives of family etc. If theres a problem , he should get the right counseling and help. Hes a target because of his celebrity status. Its heartbreaking to hear this, me and alot of Who fans that love this band. Thanks for allowing me to vent .

I don't think he's a pedophile. I think he's telling the truth about why he entered the few sites. He's even written literature and posted it on his website over a year ago bashing the whole issue and how easily this smut was accessible on the internet.

I think its just another case of a rock star not using the noggin, weighing the possible consequences about getting mistaking misconstrewed before acting.

Sort of like DLR when he got busted in central park buying nickel bags several years back. Made him look bad. And the bottom line is whats wrong with an occasional joint now and then?

Not only that Mark, but celeberties are followed around day and night. These guys can't pass wind in public without something hearing or screaming "Lawsuit". Now think about this, how many people visit those sites anyway? Litterly thousands, why we don't hear about them, or better yet, the people who run the sites. We hear about the victim, who happens to be famous. Same as shoplifters. Now I hear that Walmart is changing their code for shoplifter to "Running Ryder", lol. But hey, could I go shopping at Sacks and shoplift and when I'm caught say, "I was rehearsing for a movie roll, I haven't gotten yet." If you asked me, they should have just tailed her, all the way home, and then arrested her. Or follow her around the next couple of days and see if she did anymore, practice makes perfect you know.

What people do on their own private time is their right. When it comes to normal folks, living normal lives, they should have to do the punishment the same as us. Just because of their status, doesn't clear them for their crimes.
