CD burn question

How can you tell how many songs will fit on a CD that's about to be burned? I have a 700mb 80 minute blank audio CD. Do I just add up the minutes of each song to total just under 80 minutes?

Or is there any way to add more than 80 minutes of songs on that type of CD? Someone mentined this might be possible but how?

TP, the program you are using(nero, roxio,etc) should have a meter telling you how many minutes you have added as you add each song...you can go over the limit but i wouldnt suggest that

I have Nero. I have burnt songs to a cd no problems, but I want to burn other songs to the same cd to fill it up. I keep getting a box coming up saying that the cd isn't writable. How do I burn more songs to this cd?

Once you've finalized a cd, you can't add more songs.

Correct, CD-R's are a 1 shot process, you have to do it all at once.
