new avatar/friends' CD

hey everyone, I'm pretty new here. Lonnnnnngggg time Zebra/Randy fan.
Just put my new avatar up. From left to right, picture is, Bruce Terkildsen, bass and vocals from Voodooland , me (I'm the good looking one in the middle, lol), Karl Cochran, guitar and vocals, Voodooland. Karl is my guitar teacher. Fantastic blues/rock musician similar to SRV / Jimi.
New CD reads like a who's who in rock music: vocals by Joe Lynn Turner of Rainbow and Deep Purple and Jon Corabi of Motley Crue, and bass by Bob Daisley of Ozzy, drums, Brent Fitz of Vince Neil Band. Check out some sound samples/order the cd from www.karlcochran.com
Excellent CD. Kind of a mix of Grand Funk, Rainbow, SRV
Also Karl and Bruce play in an excellent NJ cover band, Far Cry. Schedule is on that site too.

He looks like someone I met back in my days at L'Amour.

He's in Ace Frehely's band, that is, if Ace ever records/tours again. Also has recorded and toured with Joe Lynn Turner and Sebastian Bach.....see bio on website too

Hmm... I thought he might have been in some unknown band from the NYC area back in the 80's.

I'll have to check out his bio. I really think I met him at L'amour. I never forget names - it's a mystery.

Ok, I looked at the site and I swear it's the same guy, but he didn't have a beard back in the day. I mean this is like 20 years ago or so. The pic of the band Arcara sparked something - but I couldn't tell if he played with them or not. If he did, I'm 95% sure that's the connection. I remember we exchanged phone numbers....interesting.

Wow! Small world, that's an interesting story! I know the bass player Bruce used to be in White Lion. I remember Arcara, not bad!

Gregg passed one of his demo Cd's on to me in the past. Its pretty good!

Ok - it looks like I solved the mystery!!!

Karl DID in fact play with Arcara (did more research) and I saw Arcara at L'Amour or the Cat Club - somewhere and met Karl and we did exchange phone numbers. If I remember correctly, he was on the quiet side!

It is a small world!

Thanks Chinarain. I actually used to see Zebra A LOT at Club Bene in Sayreville NJ years ago....the place turned to a rapper bar....some poor kid got "drive-by'ed" recently. Now the place is being shut down....

Holy S! That place was big in the 80's like L'Amour was in Bay Ridge. We used to call it Club Bean!

yes!!! Their reputation: Great bands, lousy food, good drinks but expensive (when I used to drink!)
