THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY . FOR YEARS PEOPLE IN DECEMBER SAY MARY CHRISTMAS . WHY MARY WHAT ABOUT JOSEPH I FEEL SORRY FOR POOR OLD JOE THIS DUDE GETS LEFT OUT IN THE COLD YEAR AFTER YEAR. YOU KNOW JOSEPH DID ALOT FOR MARY . HOW COME WE DONT SAY JOSEPH CHRISTMAS. THATS IT IM OUT TO CHANGE THINGS FOR NOW ON ITS JOSEPH CHRISTMAS FOR ME.

As this time of year rolls around again I am reminded that we most of the time we don't even say Merry Christmas anymore. It's Happy Holiday now! We musn't offend anyone.
This just makes me ponder the New Year. You really shouldn't say Happy New Year on January 1 to a Jewish person. They already celebrated it in September. After all they do have senority. I don't know, it's all so confusing. Should we not say "Good Morning" to someone who isn't a morning person?

Makes me just shake my head in amazement!!!!!

( I'd shake your head Tim, but I KNOW Darlene would NOT like that!!!!)

Jesus is what christmas is all about! i dont have to be considerate of religions who dont believe in Jesus. why celebrate somebodys birth if you dont believe in him? thats the problem with our country: God has been taken out of it!

It's a shame that these "non-catholic" people can't work on Christmas day, I mean why should they have the day off too! Or accept money as a tender for living as it notes "In GOD We Trust". I'm sure in about 10 years or so, they will slowly try and change that rule.

I had a guy who was Johova, so it was always odd that he never accepted our gifts that we handed out for our department. We joked and told him to make sure he didn't leave the lights on when he left work on Christmas Day at 5 O'clock.

Our forefathers will be rolling in their graves hearing this bs. Politics getting involved with the church because it offends some people. The way I would say it is this "HEY, THIS COUNTRY WAS BUILT THIS WAY BEFORE YOUR HAPPY ASS WAS BORN, SO WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO COME HERE AND CHANGE IT??? YOUR PARENTS MADE A MISTAKE AND MOVED HERE, WE DIDN'T MAKE YOU COME HERE, LEARN THE SYSTEM THAT IS IN PLACE OR LEAVE".

Wow - what a thread - gives me alot to think about - who woulda thought back when J.C. was being crucified for his beliefs, that he would be such a controversial subject still two thousand plus years later.
