I created a private fantasy football league at www.nfl.com/fantasy
The league name is Zebra Fantasy League - ZFL
Password to join is "thedoor". Cost is $15.
First 12 teams in the door are in the league.
Elected for an automated draft, which is the quickest and easiest. Draft date of September 7th. Rank playing position by draft round, then rank players by playing position.

I've got a few questions....

Since this costs money what are the benefits? Prizes?

The reason I ask is that I compete in several leagues. Free wons by Yahoo that dont offer prizes. Leagues that you pay and have prizes.

I'm not familiar with this league and interested in competing with some board members.

Just trying to figure out other than getting to play....what I'm getting for $15. Not to be cheap but I spend several $100's dollars a year on this stuff and pools so it all adds up.

Prizes

League Champion Prize
The first-place finisher in each league will receive an official NFL Award Certificate.

Grand Prize
The Grand Prize is awarded to the League Champion with the highest Championship Ratio. The Grand Prize is a trip for two to Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville, FL. Includes round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transportation. Winner's name and photo will be featured in the official Super Bowl game program, and winner will appear as guest analyst on the NFL network.(approximate retail value: $4,500)


Note: To be considered for prizes, you must WIN your League Championship Game.

Prize Notification
Overall prize winners and individual league rankings will be posted on each league's League Home page within 30 days of the end of the NFL season. If you qualify for a prize, we will notify you via e-mail to determine your eligibility. To determine eligibility, all prize winners may be required to submit valid identification to NFL.com and to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within thirty (30) days following first attempted notification. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and awarding of the prize to the entrant with the next highest score.
