Ron blew Vines out of the water. I wish he'd stay, but I hear he's been doing acoustic shows with Darren DeLatte.

Although I am a HUGE Axe fan, I just cant help but wonder how much time and effort Stevie can out into being in 2 other bands?

Good thing he doesn't think like that Smak. If Stevie would put 100% of his time in the one band that profited him the most, then Lillian Axe would be history.

I agree with you, and it's sad but so very true. To be honest, I thought Axe had given him the most recognition. ANGEL was a semi hit back in the '70's, and rode heavily on KISS's coattails. (Although I loved ANGEL and have most of their stuff, I was shocked to see that Stevie had joined up.)

I agree with you too.....Lillian Axe did give Stevie the most recognition especially after he got endorsed by Ibanez Guitars. Angel like Lilian Axe was one of those bands that didn't get much help from there record company. Angel was on Cassablanca Records who had all of the disco queens...back in that miserable day. Angel got swept under the rug because of it......I believe.

Steve's thing with angel is just a short thing for him to do because he liked the band back in the day.
Lillian Axe well we all know what happens to 80's BANDS .
no help or promotion from anyone.
Steve is still keeping the Axe thing alive cause there is still a bit of a fallowing in and out of this country plus there will be a new studio album out at years end it will be the first studio CD in over 10 years
NLE has been a new direction for Steve to put out the kind of rock music that sounds totally different from the 80's rock sound that he's been know for , this will reopen doors that could help both Lillian and nle.
I heard from a very good source that Kyle Thomas of Floodgate,Exhorder and Jones's Lounge fame maybe auditioning for the vacancy in the band

ANGEL wasnt a bad band. Very melodic. Wish I could find the last one they out out-----"In the Beginning". It would be cool if they did a full reunion but Guiffria is doing House Of Lords again....and Punky just doesnt want to do it.

There was a move afoot a couple of years back to do a few shows. What I recall was that Punk had no interest and he was like just doing doorman at some hotel.
