Van Halen is releasing their first ever concert footage on DVD. Its from their "5150" tour. The new DVD comes out September 14th.
Hey has anyone bought their "Best Of Both Worlds" Greatest Hits CD? I don't have it myself...was wondering what people thought of it.

Shouldn't it be called "Live Without Any Good Sammy Songs"?

I have the Best of Both Worlds CD...the new songs are GREAT! If you cant download them, this disc is $16 plus tax at Best Buy...I have all their albums already, but this comp. disc is cool...I will definitely buy Live Without a Net on DVD when it comes out...hope it has good bonus features on the DVD...

I just downloaded the 3 new songs and put them on a CD with some of my Sammy era favs. Saved a little money. Hell even Alex said they didnt care if the songs got downloaded.

Looks like this DVD is Dolby 2.0 Surround Sound with no bonuses, so it looks like I am skipping this one unless its like $10 or something...comes out 9/14

If VH is interested in making some serious money, they would release a DVD of the Fair Warning "Hide Your Sheep" tour.

No question about that.
In fact....I'd like to see a mixed bag DVD of the Roth era. Basically, a concert DVD with footage from the early days through Diver Down (1984 footage would just take up valuable space:p )
I wouldn't really like to see interviews, but I would like there to be a fair amount of "behind the scenes" footage.
The "Fair Warning" tour would definitely be the one I would like to see the most!

Me too! But I'll pick this up because well I only have the "Van Halen: Live Right Here, Right Now" DVD from the "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" tour. I like that DVD but its mainly all that one album. But I want some Roth era stuff!!!!!!
