Actually, Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day for me. After nearly three long years from being laid off from my Senior Consultant position, I received a job offer this morning. I will be working at JC Penney's corporate headquarters in Plano, TX as a Planning Support Project Manager. I have been 2+ months behind on my mortgage for nearly three years. Finally, I should be able to get caught up by the end of the year.

I have been working two full-time jobs (Home Depot and Super Target) - 80 hours a week for the past five months. My new job starts Monday and I will actually be able to be home in the evenings and have weekends available with my family once again. Answered prayers...

Hmmm. I've had 2 of them in my life time, so now I tend to drive like the old lady I am. The last time I got a speeding ticket I had the stupidity to question the State Trooper and wound up with a ticket for no inspection too. I didn't realize it had expired. Whoops!
