As much as I hate to say it, with the signing of Corey Dillon the Patriots are gonna come out on top and Donovan and the Eagles will finally get past the NFC Title game...

My early predictions:
AFC-- New England, Cleveland, Indianapolis
NFC-- Carolina, Philadelphia, St. Louis
Wildcards:
AFC-- Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Baltimore
NFC-- Green Bay, Detroit, New Orleans
Even though The Saints are my home team, my picks are more based on rebuilding from within. Notice NY Giants wasn't one of my picks because 1 guy isn't going to change that team around. Tampa will struggle this year as veterans become older and teams like the Saints and the Rams know how to beat them. Atlanta could be a surprise this year, but don't have that extra leverage to get them going. The Saints should be a 10-6 this year. Haslett has already purchased his luggage for his departure. The Saints are in talks with getting a new stadium and I think if they need to get an approval, they better have a good season this year. On the other side of the NFL, the Jets look a little impressive. The Dolphins will be flopping without a QB threat. San Diego could turn the corner with the running game. I do not think that New England will dominate this year, though I'm sure every nut is picking them and Philly this year for the big dance.
I think it will be (drum roll please.......)
Indianapolis versus Green Bay

Looking foward to the season this year. Not because of the AINTS either. I want to see as many Carolina games as possible and watch Jake have another great year. :)

I'm pulling for homeboy Jake also! Hope he is not a one hit wonder.
My Texans are still too young.
Football season means cool fronts, which are always welcomed down here.

The SAINTS will probably be the worst team again this year but I'll still be cheering for them every weekend.
I can't help it, I'm a diehard.
GO SAINTS!!!!

I don't think the Saints are going to be bad this year, they've kept the nucleus together and they should go 10-6. Brooks is looking very strong this year, he seems to be stepping more into his throws then last year (rotator cuff). Talking with a few folks and watching some reports from camp, look for a higher passing game. They may be taking a few pages from the Voodoo playbook.
