Infuence Game (New)

I thought of a new game it goes like this:

Someone picks a name of an artist/band. Then you have to pick a member of that band and name another artist who influenced THAT person or band (just one). This might be a short game so pick a more recent band and we trace the influences all the way back to the beginning of time. If it doesnt work out the first time, its ok. we'll start a new one. It might take some research the longer it goes on.

Here is an example:

Zebra - Guy Gelso - Jimi Hendrix

now we take Jimi Hendrix or band and figure out their infuence and so on....

who wants to start? (Paul - take it easy on us ok?)

That isn't really gonna work since you can ONLY go backwards to find an "influence". Somehow it will all end up with King Solomon who penned the earliest song lyrics known....

Thats the whole point d-man, it all goes back to the beginning. Every singer/song writer/musician has there infuences but with just different paths that go way back to the beginning.

Once you go back as far as you can, we start with another artist.
