Photos seems to work the best on Ebay auctions. It seems that everyone goes to those auctions first. Hopefully Chrissy you could get a pic of it up there - I bet you would sell it quicker!

Good luck!

very cool.

where mr. z chik works he doesn't need such a large tool chest and it's just sitting in storage and still paying for it. kinda a waste for us

I have a preatty well established Ebay account. Here's some hints to sell.

1. You need to place a picture on ebay. People at least want to see what they are buying. I'm looking for a couple year old really low mileage used corvette right now and I'm amazed to find out that people bid for such cars on ebay! Personally, I'd never buy a car unless I got a chance to crawl all over, through and under it with a thorough inspection only in broad daylight. I won't even go look at a vehicle after dusk or during rain.
Several close pictures including close ups halp alot.

2. Secondly, advertise with other key words such as 'muscle car' or 'Mechanic' or 'Rare' or 'Limited Edition'. When people look for stuff they are always not exactly sure what they want so they browse using keywords in the search engine. Sometimes they'll find a stray hit and say 'wow, thats an interesting item'.

Good Luck
