Remember my cover of Wait Until The Summer's Gone? Well due to the positive responses I received I'd thought I'd post our cover of YYZ from back in '86 when I was in the 10th grade.
We were crazy 16 year olds trying to cover such a hard song, espically with a drum machine. The drums are not that bad I guess considering drums machines back then ****ed. My friend put a lot of time into programming those drums, he also played bass on the track. Pretty good bass playing for a 16 yr old that had only been playing bass for a year or less, of course the guy is awesome now some 15 years or so later. I did the recording & mixing and played keys on the track.
I hope some others on the board can post their covers (Zebra or not, just any covers of stuff by "good" bands) as I have tons that I could turn into MP3's from my old cassette tapes. I'd like to hear what others are doing or have done.
