Remember my cover of Wait Until The Summer's Gone? Well due to the positive responses I received I'd thought I'd post our cover of YYZ from back in '86 when I was in the 10th grade.

We were crazy 16 year olds trying to cover such a hard song, espically with a drum machine. The drums are not that bad I guess considering drums machines back then ****ed. My friend put a lot of time into programming those drums, he also played bass on the track. Pretty good bass playing for a 16 yr old that had only been playing bass for a year or less, of course the guy is awesome now some 15 years or so later. I did the recording & mixing and played keys on the track.

I hope some others on the board can post their covers (Zebra or not, just any covers of stuff by "good" bands) as I have tons that I could turn into MP3's from my old cassette tapes. I'd like to hear what others are doing or have done.

RIGHT CLICK on the hyperlink YYZ HERE (http://www.adventuresportsla.com/yyz.mp3) and choose "SAVE TARGET AS" to download the MP3. YYZ HERE (http://www.adventuresportsla.com/yyz.mp3)

Thanks for the feedback. I can't wait to record a new Zebra cover!
Thanksgiving was great. Poor ZebraGirl had to work Wed & Th nite but I brought her home leftover turkey from relatives and a friend's house so she was able to eat before she left for work.

Hey Ms zebrachikodoom, if you talk to Randy ask him if he ever listedn to our cover of Watil Until The Summer's Gone. I emailed him a link but I didn't want to bother him by asking him if he listened to it. I think it's pretty good for a couple of teenagers and I would like to know what he thought about it (I bet he doesn't get MP3's of too many people covering that tune hehe).

We hope you guys had plenty of good food up there as well!
:-)
