Most of the shows at the Gulf Coast Casinos - unless its a real BIG show will either not be advertised here, or done so late that little or no tickets are left. You gotta keep looking at the websites for the casino listings. Some times, Karen and I found out about shows enroute to another show and saw the billboards on the highway. One instance was an Alice Cooper show when we were driving to see Styx. We parked in the garage, then hauled a$$ up to the box office to get the tickets. Its bad enough the Coast is getting all the shows now, no advertising is worse.

if anybody good ever comes to the Grand, I can probably get free tickets.

I think Gina and I disagree a lot about music, too, but as long as we have that Zebra thing and she continues to be the swell gal she is it's all good!

yeah, it'll be those 3 and their freakin' orchestra! But I'm not too bummed b/c Ray Thomas isn't exactly as important as Hayward and Lodge. I saw a recent concert where Thomas' vocals were crap. They also had a 2nd drummer on stage which makes me question Edge's skills. Why can't he lay it down alone? It's like Nick Mason in Floyd on their recent tours. Seems lame to me. But I'm down for Lodge and Hayward and their orchestra!
Hey speaking of the Blues (as in Moody Blues),
anyone check out the new Aerosmith CD? Nice to see them going back to their roots and dropping all the new commercial sounding crap.
I dig it!

Banterman,
The Moodies have been using dual drummers for at least the last 10 years. The last 2 times I saw the band, they had an orchestra, and the shows seemed stronger.
JB - the new CD is indeed killer, and the songs are even more kick-ass done live. Getting my tix thru the fan club(5th row in front of Joe Perry) didn't **** either.....:D

yes, and for 10 years I've been like "what's up w/the 2nd drummer thing?"

I wondered the same thing the first time I saw the additional drummer. I'm not opposed to having dual drummers(one of my favorites...ABB has that setup), but in the case of the Moodies, both are SO different. The "new" guy is so over the top, too busy in my opinion. Dunno, maybe after Graham had his heart attack years ago, he just can't do what he used to do........
