Paul Stanley said in a recent interview in Austrailia that there will be no new KISS album for the foreseeable future, going as far at say"What's the point? I could do a new KISS album by myself". Sounds a little pompous to me. So whatever DID happen to their famous quotes of "We give the fans what they want" and "We hear and we obey"?

Sounds like the band is finally driving the nail in the coffin. I think Ace and Peter are creating waves and law suits. See if this hits the news lines in the next few months. Maybe Paul can create a supergroup or something.

That would be cool! If anyone in the band could pull it off, I believe that he is the one that can do it.

KISS needs to make a decision soon when to end KISS. Right now it appears all they are doing is dragging the once rich history of the band right through the mud. Gene and Paul both have been successful with KISS, so maybe it is time to really say goodbye.

Well, all I know, is Gene is very busy. He has that magazine, and other business he attends to. He has alot going on in his life... husband, dad.. etc. As far as Paul, I never met him.

I will say that Gene is a very astute gentleman, and business man. Never ever second guess him. He likes the element of surprise.

That's too bad Kiss wont put out a new record, they have 2 good musicians in the band right now in Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer and even though I am pissed they are wearing Ace and Paters makeup and wont see a show because of it, I would still like to hear the record anyways. It is such a shame how one of my favorite bands in the world has done nothing but piss me off the last 3 years with the makup fiasco, how bad Alive 4 is, the fact they are opening for Poison (maybe) and how they would let Aerosmith go on after them when Gene said in the 70's 80's and 90's that Kiss always will be a headlining act. My My have times changed...

Wait a sec.....Gene is not a husband. He never will be according to him in both of his books. He is vehemiently against the idea of marriage. As far as his kids, yes he loves them dearly.

I agree that Gene is an astute buisiness man, but it is driven by one factor........greed. How else can you explain the KISS Kaskets??? And a KISS broadway play??? Um the Billy Joel one is bad enough.

It is a shame tho, that there wont be a new record wit the "new" lineup. Tommy was great back in the Black n Blue days ( I had a chance to meet him then , ironically when they opened for KISS on the Asylum tour). And Eric......forget about it. Constant touring as a "KISS employee" ( as Gene refered to Ace and Peter as during the Reunion tour) wont sit well with him. He likes recording way too much. Just check out the list of people he's appeared with!

Gene needs to quit trying to put himself on a pedastal. He's human like the rest of us. Also, since he sees his popularity fading, and since Ace and Peter are no longer in the band, he should quit refering to them as "drug addled people with big problems" and focus on himself. Sounds to me every time he brings them up its all sour grapes. (Most likely because they have a bigger fan base maybe???)

Eric Singer don't need Kiss anyway......he has a guaranteed gig anytime Alice Cooper tours........

True.....so true.

What have they done CD wise since the reunion?
1) You wanted the best....you got the best....(greatest hits)
2) Greatest KISS ( another one???)
3) Psycho Circus (at least it was fresh material)
4) The very best of KISS ( these songs are getting old)
5) ALIVE IV (greatest hits with a twist)

10 years since the reunion and what is there to show for it?

To my fans...
April 6th
Some people love hearing themselves talk, Gene Simmons is one of them. I read online what he said to the Iowa and German press. Now let me tell you what's really important. I have never been so happy in my whole life. I can finally be free to be an Artist again.

I surround myself with people who love me and respect me. My endearing and supporting wife Gigi, True friends, and a loving family, and always God. If not for him there would be nothing. These are things that make me a rich man, Mr. Simmons.

I sang and drummed my heart out on the Aerosmith tour, FACT. The real fans know that, END OF STORY. And I also missed Ace on the tour.

I am in excellent health, wealthy and working on being wiser. I just wanted you fans to know that. I won't even comment on what Mr. Simmons had to say, because it's NOT TRUE, and I don't need to justify his lies.

The original band is over. And as a founding member I am not shocked at Gene and Paul turning a legendary band into a cover act for just plain profit, How very sad.

But the crazy thing is? The fans will still follow because they are the real heart of KISS. I was proud to be a part of something that was once great.

God Bless and Good-bye to that part of my life.

Peter Criss
