I am desperately searching for someone to install 2 window unit a/c's at my apt this weekend. I can pay $30 (sorry, but I'm at the tail end of my household money for the month), and provide lunch. If any of you know of someone, please let me know here before 5 p.m. today or call me on my cell 601-750-8793.

Mr. Bungle was darling enough to drive my ass all over town last Sunday and help me pick out the a/c's and haul them into my apt but I didn't want to bug him further because he had many chores to tend to! An extra plus was that he turned me on to Queensryche...am I slow or what??

Earl's an a/c man. Just get him some vodka and he will probably do it. I wouldn't feed him though. It might not stay down.

Can't! He already told Bungle he wouldn't do it. I pm'd him to see if he knew someone who could do it but he didn't answer.

I am very grateful to BayouGirl and JR ... BUT ... I would not put this on any of my female friends unless it was some certain females I know around here (in MS) who look like they could lift a bulldozer in one arm - ha! And Johnny, when you come, it's for fun and let's keep it that way! I wouldn't dare put that on y'all. I'm just hoping someone has a co-worker or a bud with a ladder and a hankering for $30 and a burger! Ha!

Earl works two jobs and installs central a/c all the time so I certainly understand why he wouldn't do it and I wouldn't ask. I may need Earl to come get me if my car breaks down or if some man is bugging me some day! Schlitz also works two jobs and I need him for hauling stuff! Ha! I am very careful about asking too many favors from people. And anyway, Schlitz already offered to do it last weekend.
My thread wasn't a hint for any board members to do it. I try not to play too pitiful! My daddy told me last night that this is why it's not good to be a single girl far away from her daddy and brother cause who's going to fix stuff? And that's the damn truth - ha!
That was awfully funny about the burger not staying down, by the way!

JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH OUR GOOD FRIEND ROB HE JUST TOLD Me THAT HE WENT TO THE DOCTOR TO GET HIS O RINGS TIGHTENED UP AND HIS BALL BARRINGS LIFTED BACK INTO PLACE AND HE Had his oil flushed out from his rear end .thanks for the info rob

My landlady says she will have the A/C's installed for me but I wanted to thank Mr. Bungle who offered two times to do the installation and all the ladies who offered and/or said they would help if they lived here! It meant a lot to me!

Good, we would've got them done somehow. Andy & I are booked until next Sunday though.
Always something to do around here on the weekends.
Do you want to do the Ochser walk with us next Saturday night. Let me know and I will fax you the info.
Me, Andy, HM, Jeff2, Sandy and the kids are all doing this.

let me check the schedule for the Tennessee Williams thing and if there's nothing I want to go to I want to do the thing with y'all. HM showed me the info last week and it looks fun.
