For you TNT fans, here is a pre-release review of the new TNT CD called "My Religion". I think the release date is Feb 23 in Japan and March 8 in the USA.
FROM MELODICROCK.COM
TNT - My Religion (MTM Music, March 8) - I'm not sure I can put into words how much I love this album. Just wait until you wrap your ears around this. In my opinion, TNT could not possibly have recorded a better album. There's a very strong chance this could be their best album ever. Between Ronni's playing and Tony's inspired vocal performance, not to mention the sheer quality of the songs, there is not a second of wasted space on the album.
A full review will come in the next few weeks, but I could not wait any longer to talk about just how good this is. Basically the band have nailed the formula for success in the modern age. The album features the band's most loved trademarks - soaring vocals, huge harmonies and memorable choruses, intense guitar solos and riffing - mixed with some more contemporary elements, with a few tracks as dark, moody and heavy as the band have ever been. Now add an utterly flawless, crisp and clean production. I've been lucky enough to live with this for a few weeks now and there isn't a day past without it being played and it's the only CD in my car right now. A monster album to get 2004 off to a flying start. Fans of TNT are going to go nuts, I guarantee.

Here is a brief cut of the latest review:
“My Religion”. This is an album packed with sizzling guitars and emotionally driven vocals that soar through your ears like the best candy you've ever tasted. Melody, harmony and big arena energy fill this incredible disc. This is a true classic and is a perfectly executed hard rock masterpiece that acknowledges the roots of hard rock and yet brings it into a new era with contemporary style and sophistication.
From the 80's era TNT sounding “Lonely Nights”, “Everyone's Got A Secret” and “You'll Be There” to the more contemporary “Invisible Noise” and title track “My Religion”, TNT drive through these amazing songs like young kids out to prove something. And they just might! It would be hard to argue that this band is not THE best of it's kind.
Ronni LeTekro's guitar playing is a shining star into itself. Lyrical, imaginative, eclectic and magical. His rhythm guitar, though often ignored is equally stunning and important to the TNT sound. Tony Harnell's voice is a marvel. An inhuman ability channeled into a very human and personal delivery. Clear as a bell, raw as hell and everywhere in between, Tony pours his soul out on every note drawing the listener in to his world. Many know of this man's bizarre range that leaps from a whisper to a scream, but it's the subtleties in his voice, the little details that are most important.
My Religion has everything a TNT fan would want and more. It has the ability to bring new fans to the party and to give the long time TNT fans something new to get addicted to.
With the resurgence of melodic metal, TNT is poised to reclaim their throne as the masters of a genre that they helped to create.

The new TNT cd will be played on the "classicmetalshow" on the net.
Here is the link and post.
http://www.classicmetalshow.com/
THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: Man, last week was insanely busy! First, American Dog's Michael Hannon world premiered some new music exclusively on the show. Then, Mike Fasano of Warrant spewed far more than anyone (even Mike!!) expected he would! And finally, we had the world premiere of the new UFO album YOU ARE HERE! So...how do we top that?
Well, we don't! Instead, we slow the show down a bit this week, bringing no scheduled interviews, but one of the best new Classic Metal Albums we've heard in a long time! TNT are back with an absolutely brilliant new release called MY RELIGION, and we're going to bring it to you first! Tune in to hear it.
Tune in Saturday from 9p-3a EST!

Had a rare night alone tonight. Decided to pull out the ole' TNT "My Religion".
I have always given great praise to this CD.
You know when a new album comes out and you think it's "the greatest CD ever" at first?....then after listening to it for a while, you get used to it. Then, over time, the CD ends up being a "very good" CD, but not nearly as good as you made it out to be in the beginning?....anyone ever done that?
Well.....I must say that regarding TNT's CD "My Religion", this is definitely NOT the case.
I've had this CD since the day it was released and it is every bit as good as when I was first impressed.
Not only is this CD my favorite TNT, and not only is it my favorite release of 2004, this CD may very well make it into my top 5 of all time.
This CD does not get old over time. I've have listened to this CD many, many, many, many times and it has not gotten old or stale....or even mediocre.
I can't begin to tell you how much I like this CD. If you don't have it, I would HIGHLY recommend getting it. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
