Aerosmith fans - new 40 city tour announced

Attention Aerosmith fans-
The schedule for their 2004 - 40 city tour has come out.
Big Easy residents - the closest they will play is
Biloxi, Ms. on Saturday March 27th. New Yorkers they will play there as well. Texans won't be left out either.

Macca & I love Aerosmith !!!

I caught them once at a surprise appearance at our
New Orleans HOUSE OF BLUES for an unplugged show.
It was great. We had inside information that they
were gonna pop in and jam. I used to know the electrician
at HOB and he informed us about it and got us in. Before
they came out on stage, they were hanging out on the street
outside HOB talking to fans. It was the one time I did NOT
have my camera with me. (DAMN!) I've seen them numerous other times as well....

Since we missed it last year....we'll be there this time!! And no stupid exams is going to stop is either!!!
That'll be soo cool..

They have a new 'blues" type CD coming out....so a handful of songs will be dedicated to plugging that. Over the past few tours, they've been playing a bunch of old songs....occassionly throwing in a rare old song they haven't done in a long time.

Cheap Trick.......still sound good.......fun....LOUD.......should be a great double bill.

Chara, I thought Jon Brant replaced Tom Petersson in the Cheap Trick line up back in 1982 - 1986(or 87?). Did he play with someone else that I am not aware of???

Yes Jon Brant replaced Tom for a while, then Tom returned and they did the hit "The Flame". I seen Jon with CT back in 85 at Radio City Music Hall warming for John Waite.

Jon was playing for a while in a blues cover band in Chicago called "Lynn Jordan and the Shivers".

Got my tickets! They are playing here in Lafayette on March 25 at the Cajundome. We have seen Aerosmith at the dome before..it was a hell of show! This should be one hell of a show too! Can't wait! ;)
