TWO AMAZING GUITAR PLAYERS! This is a VERY tough one. I choose Eddie because he came up with the material. I originally thought Steve Vai was better but than I heard all of Eddies stuff and compared it to Vai's and although Vai is mindblowing Eddie is his influence and is THE MAN! So my vote goes to Mr. Edward Van Halen.

Eddie was great early but never evolved. Vai has constantly strived for something different. Satriani would be my prefernce to see live today!! But if I had to sit down one on one with someone it would be Eddie. He's rock royalty. I don't get caught up in celebrity status but there are a few individuals that I considwer rock royalty that I would love to meet. They are:
