Where in Lindenhurst? East or West of Wellwood and/or North or South of Montauk Highway??

Lindenhurst stinks, and I don't like it!:) I would much rather be in south west Florida.
I'm just west of Wellwood and just north of Montauk..right off South 3rd. My wife is from here, I have The Bronx/East Meadow/Massapequa thing going for me.

I grew up in the American Venice, west side. Have to say I do miss the beaches up there, Gilgo, Cedar Beach, Oak Beach. The beaches over here on the west coast of FL are mud patches.
What's in sw Florida, besides the beautiful weather? I have a few friends over that way, some in Boca, Delray, and Boyton.
Have you had any snow up there yet?

Nope...no snow yet (thank God).
Basically my whole family moved to Naples. I'm trying like hell to convince my wife to move but it's not working out too well. I'm a hot weather freak and can not stand the cold. I can't do too many more of these winters.
I saw in another thread that you're going to Disney....SWEET! We were just there in October. Had such a blast.

It's always hard when your family moves so far away, especially around the holidays. I bet your wife's family is still in NY though and that is why she doesn't want to move.
Disney will be great, heading there just for the day with a few friends. Two of them go every year this time to see the holiday decorations and experience the holiday shows. Did you get to do all the parks when you were here in October? My favorite is Animal Kingdom although I do not like the white tigers!

Her family is here but it's more about employment. We both have good jobs. I could most likely work out a transfer but it would be harder for her. She's about half way to retirement too, so....it's tough.
Yeah, we hit ALL the parks several times. We had a dozen friends with us so it was just awesome. MGM...man! I can live in that place. If I lived down there, I would try to go once a month.

Best to stay up on Long Island then as the salaries down here stink to say the least. Even if you transferred your salary would be cut drastically.
MGM, you must like the rides. Me, I don't do rides due to a bad back and neck. Not worth the risk for me.

PS: I also miss my boat, the fresh caught blue claw crabs and clamming too!
